Build a Q4 2015 PC for $300
Build a Q4 2015 PC for $300
Overview
This is a $300 PC that can perfectly handle gaming in modern games at 720p at medium to high settings. Of course like its younger brother it can handle daily tasks such as word processing, web browsing, listening music and streaming videos. The soul of this build is the AMD Athlon 5350 based on the AM1 Platform that only consumes a tiny amount of power (25 W). The case is a Rosewill FBM-01 and is of black colour. The supply is an EVGA unit capable of suppling a maximum of 430W with will be more than enough as this system requires about 300W under maximum load.
Add a stick of 4GB DDR3 RAM and a 320GB Mechanical Hard Disk, you get a cheap computer for daily usage. So far it looks the same as its sibling. But the similarities end here : This system has a dedicated AMD GPU, the R7 360 made by Gigabyte. You are no longer limited to casual games or older games. It got an average of 50 FPS on Tomb Raider 2013 at 1080p, a score of 544 & 23 FPS at 1600x900 in Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0.
All builds exclude the price of the Operating System.
